In Summer

In summer...

At an altitude of 1,400 metres, Residence Albaré offers a perfect starting point for mountain lovers and is suitable for pleasant walks with all the family. Along the SAT's nature trails, you can take in the beauty of the peaks of the Brenta group and of over 100 lakes.

For fishing enthusiasts, there are 130 km of streams and 13 Alpine lakes: splendid scenarios and waters rich in fish for every fishing desire; trout fishing is an option.

The undisputed stars of the forests in Val di Sole are the mushrooms which are also present in the traditional dishes.
Pejo spa benefits from three different water sources to naturally treat certain problems connected to articulations, venous and lymphatic circulation, the skin and breathing. Our guests get a discount for the swimming pool and fitness area.

Important Serie A football teams choose Val di Sole for their pre-championship preparation retreat and train in full view of fans - they might even do a meet and greet!

Outdoor adventures

Nature benefits from special protection here, thanks to the Stelvio and Adamello Brenta parks located in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage since 2009.

In order to reach high altitudes without making too much of an effort, you can use one of the many funiculars and chairlifts, which are also operational in summer.
The Alpine Guides of the Val di Sole Mountaineering and Ski-Mountaineering School will help you to choose from many courses: climbing and bouldering (both on natural and artificial walls), hiking and mountaineering, high mountain experiences, iron paths, park excursions, Nordic walking, orienteering, tarzaning and activities for children and teenagers.

You can experience the thrill of crossing over 100 metres of suspension bridge at 60 metres above the Rio Ragaiolo waterfalls, in Val di Rabbi. A thrill for just about everyone - experienced excursionists and families alike - whatever the season.

And for the younger guests (but not only!), there are many adventure parks and the flying park trails among the trees, lianas and wooden suspension bridges, to have fun safely while immersed in nature.

Val di Sole Bikeland

Your two wheels have found their "place in the sun" in the valley which has become biker-friendly and is the seat of important global competitions in Downhill, Cross Country, Four Cross, and E-Biking. All around, there are performances and side events for thousands of athletes and spectators.

In the nearby Bike Park, in addition to the super famous Black Snake, there is a World Cup trail where the best bikers in the world compete every year, and enthusiasts get the chance to have fun on new trails with new concepts, culminating in the valley where there is a four-cross track.

In the many rental centres available in the valley, it is possible to find bicycles for every need and age: e-bikes and e-mtbs, city bikes, trekking bikes and mountain bikes.

Water sports

Have you ever though about (safely) tackling a wild stream? The star of the show here is River Noce, located only 10 km far from our residence.
It has been ranked one of the ten best rivers in the world for rafting by National Geographic and it hosts international canoeing, rafting and kayaking competitions.
A rafting adventure on the River Noce is accessible to everyone and ensures entertainment and adrenalin.
The rafting centres located at the bottom of the valley offer a wide choice of sports and outdoor activities, suitable for adults and children: in addition to rafting, there's hydrospeed, canoeing, kayaking and canyoning.

Cycling tracks in Val di Sole

Val di Sole's cycling trail extends over almost the entirety of the River Noce, that's 35 km, from Cogolo di Pejo to Mostizzolo.

The trail is not demanding and you can choose many paths, using the Dolomite Express train (Train+Bike) and the Bike Bus, purposely designed to carry bicycles. You could hop on in order to integrate the trails or easily make it back up from the bottom of the valley.

Rental bicycles, for all needs and age (e-bikes and e-mtbs, city bikes, trekking bikes and mountain bikes) are available at many rental centres located across the valley.

The flavours of Trentino

Don't miss out on a stop in a malga: here, you'll get to try the Casolét, a traditional cheese and Slow Food product, as well as the traditional dishes characterised by a X few wholesome ingredients made with the milk of the malgas, the produce of the vegetable gardens and forests, small fruits, mushrooms and aromatic herbs.

For the children, there are many educational farms where they can learn about animal breeding techniques and milk processing methods - they even get to taste the products!

Crossing the Val di Nòn, you reach the best Trentino wine-making region: la Piana Rotaliana and the hills to the West of Lavìs: in the "most beautiful vine garden in Europe" you find the Teròldego, la Nosiòla, several Chardonnay and Pinot: every vine variety gives exceptional products.

Apples are cultivated in the lower Val di Sole valley and feature the brand of the nearby Val di Non: Melinda is the only apple in Italy to boast Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
With a little creativity and all its by-products (juice, mousse, vinegar, jam and dried apple), this apple can enrich any dish... and it goes perfectly with cakes!
